This is one crazy fun theme park that is all about hands on. I must say that from a Mom perspective, one of my favorite aspects is the design of the park. Nearby many of the rides that my four-year old could go on (but my just toddeling toddler could not) were lego type statues and artwork that the younger one was thrilled with playing with, pounding on, or crawling through. We are truly a Lego family. My husband has lego kits stashed as birthday presents for our kids for the next several years. So it was no surprise that a trip to Legoland on our southern California vacation was going to happen within the first 24 hours we were down there. I have learned to be skeptical of theme parks, based on our last trip to Disneyland.  My oldest was petrified of the walking characters...
