I love the State Fair! The heat, the greasy food, the freaks, the gluttony – all of it.
Jen and I went every year before I moved away. Now I’m back and we enjoyed it together again, with my mom, last weekend. It was nearly empty. Hard times? Or the odd change of dates? Who knows. I sure didn’t miss the crowds.
Good to know about it being not crowded. I think the crowds is often what keeps people away.
