Each year we pack up the kids and cruise around town looking for the best holiday lights. I look forward to later in the year when more people have them up. I read something in a magazine where a family who is cruises to see the lights around town also buys a little box of chocolate and leaves it as a thank you to the house they think is the best lit. This seems like a great gesture and represents the season well, so I hope to start that tradition this year. Me too. My kids were in daycare and they hosted Holiday event annually and the scene was just like you described. :) We will in the Holiday Parade this year so my kids are so excited to be part of the parade that we have been watching in the past.
