Having recently been thinking a lot about geocaching (see previous post), it seems only appropriate to use this dreamy Monday for a post of one of my favorite geocache finds: Spanish Peak.
As I recall, this was my first introduction to geocaching, and you can see why I got hooked. In our PK days (pre-kids) my husband and I decided to take a trip for a few days to Bucks Lake. For a day hike we chose Spanish Peak, and could see that there were some caches stashed about. Little did we know one would be stashed in the cracks of this overhanging rock. As you can see, I didn’t get too close to snap a pic of the contents. Still, finding it felt like an accomplished mission. This Monday I am dreaming of discovering beauty in a place I would have never thought to look.

Wow!! What a location! I have been reading about Geocaching for a while and I know my neighbor who is so into it. I think it’s a great way to make hiking fun with kids. I really want to start doing this. Thanks for sharing!
