Photo Friday: Animal sweetness

horsegrooming2The best pumpkin patches are those that go beyond picking out an orange squash too big to carry. We are lucky to have one nearby where some very patient and kind animals reside. Here a pony named Candy is getting some gentle grooming  from the boys. I also love the names of the baby goats: snickerdoodle, reeses, and buttercup. Appropriate, as the babies are as sweet as Halloween treats.

  1. You are right, those kids are the sweetest… i’m glad they had a good time…

Someone on the farm has a sweet-tooth. Kind of makes me hungry for some candy now.

  3. What a neat thing to be able to do! We just went to a pumpkin patch last week that had some farm animals, but the closest you got was to touch them over the fence (which was fine with my daughter!) but my son would have loved this.

  4. Those animals have the sweetest names – what fun for the kids

I love how your younger son is checking out the horse as if to say-hey are you ok with this?

That’s a sweet image, the boys are grooming the pony with such care!
